A New Colour Scheme

  1. Go to 'Website Design - Advanced Setup' on the menu.

Each section of your web site in the advanced setup area has colours that can be changed independently from the next. This gives you lots of options to personalise your site style. The image below shows where each section displays.

  2. Go to the section that you want to edit in the Advanced Setup area. Each section has colour options that you can change. Some relate to the background, others for changing borders and one for the font colour.

    How to select colours

  3. Selecting Colours
Click on the 'choose a colour' link. This will open up the colour picker palette. Select the colour you want by clicking on it. The reference number for that colour is automatically added to the box (starting with a # the colour reference is known as 'hexadecimal code').

Words you can enter in the text box include – aqua, black, blue, fuchsia, gray, green, lime, maroon, navy, olive, purple, red, silver, teal, white, and yellow. Use lowercase text to enter these settings.

  5. Go to each section that you want to edit and repeat the above steps to create the look you want.

  6. Click submit to save your changes. Click on view website link at the top right of the page to view your changes online.

    DON'T FORGET
It's important to keep checking your site and refreshing the browser to see your changes as you work.
